Blessing of the Animals Oct 6 at 5 pm

St. John’s Episcopal Church will hold its traditional blessing of the animals service at 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 6.
The blessing is usually held on the Sunday after the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4), who was said to be loved by animals of all kinds. Bring your pets (or pictures of them if your pets do not get along well with others) and come to the side garden for a short service and the blessing. If it rains, we will hold the animal blessing inside in the basement.
