Angel Tree - Providing Gifts for Needy Children
St. John's Episcopal Church in Glencarlyn is again participating in the Salvation Army Angel Tree project which provides gifts to children of low income families at Christmas. The Angel Tree is in the undercroft (basement). If you would like to participate please check in at the office first (5th Street entrance) You will put your name and phone number on the form, and take an Angel from the tree and a plastic bag. Each Angel has several specific items for one child. Return the unwrapped gifts, with tag attached, to St. John's no later than December 2. Please note that you are being asked to provide an outfit/coat and two or three new toys if possible for the Angel you choose.
The office is open Monday - Thursday 9:30 - 1:30 pm and Sunday until noon. You may want to call during the week before coming 703-671-6834.
