New Church Programs Director Named

We would like to welcome Jill McAfee as the new St. John's Church Programs Director
In that capacity, she will plan programs to attract people (with an emphasis on families with young children) to our parish to grow their spiritual lives. She will also be responsible for parish activities, including the Christmas pageant and other programs for the youth, as well as gatherings for older members.
Jill is a substitute teacher in the Alexandria City Public Schools and the Fairfax County Public Schools. She has done subscription sales and fundraising for the Shakespeare Theater and Arena Stage. She produces her own TV show on Public Access TV.
